REVIEW: PURPLE HAIR CHALLENGE @BEAUTY SALON BY ELRI IN BAGUIO CITY

Hair Bang! Sometimes, all that we need is a hair bang. We do the black, brown, mocha, but why not dare purple your hair. It seems odd, seeing someone with a purple hair but what if it makes  `you`, the new you, the motivated you, the unique you! Watch out for this black hair turning to purple.
#purlehair #dare

We tried for the first time the Beauty Salon by Elri. The ambiance inside the salon is nice and cool. The salon has a massage area also, so if you have a companion who is bored they can try their whole body massage while you enjoy your hair treatment. The staffs are accommodating and I think most of the staff are gorgeous "Igorotas" from Benguet.

Upon entering their salon, they will ask you if what do you want to do with your hair?
I showed them a sample picture that I want purple hair. They called their senior hair stylist and she clears out things. She asks for some treatment history of my hair.

I choose to do the bleaching to achieve my hair colour but there are some disadvantages.
These are some disadvantages in bleaching your hair:
1) the hair will be damaged
2) the hair needs more treatment and care
3)the hair is often tangled, dry and frizzy
4)hair is prone to breakage and split ends

Knowing the consequences, I still insist to try bleaching once in for all.The natural colour of my hair is black and it's difficult to put a lighter colour in it without bleaching.

My hairstylist gave me a waiver form to sign before proceeding with my hair treatment.

These are the procedures I noticed:
1. first bleach (1 hour )
2.washed and dried hair (15-30 minutes)
3. second bleach application (1 hour and 30 minutes)it's up to you how long, it depends on how light you want your hair?
4. 2nd washed and dried hair (30 minutes )
5. putting a dark purple colour (1 hour)
6.3rd washed and drying hair (30 minutes)
7. curling hair as a bonus from my hairstylist (30 minutes)

We went there around 10 am in the morning and I was finished at around 6 pm.
There are a lot of customers coming in so they are maximizing their time to accommodate all of us. If you are planning to do Re-bond or any treatment that requires a lot of time then I advise you to go earlier at around 9 am. The earlier you go the better.

If I will rate my hair color result to what I'm expecting I will give them 7 out of 10.

Are you familiar with the Budots dance move craze?
Have you done the crazy challenge circling around the social media?
Once you heard the music what moves do you have in mind?

Almost everyone could just do the popular moves of the dance craze when hearing
the music, but for this young farmer is an exception.
He just dances on the spot and shows his unique farming moves.
The dance was called carrot dance in the FB post meaning the dance was all about the steps in planting carrots.

The posted video has given the Netizens good vibes especially farmers who can relate to his steps.
Even though the prices of the vegetable that time was low, they still manage to make themselves happy and have a good time.

The boy dancing in the video has been a farmer since 7 years old, instead of playing to other kids he opts to help his parents in the farm. As to his sister, he already manages his own farm at around 14 or16 years old then supports his studies. This young farmer is really incredible and a hardworking person.

Okay, let's also talk about Budots?
Where did it originate?

The term "Boduts" is a Davao slang for "tambay" which means unemployed or no permanent job.
It was originated in barangay Camus, a community in Davao that started the local techno craze with its freestyle dance.
